Konsole logging

Hi!

I wanted to log all my output of the konsole to a file but am not sure
how to do this. I have looked at the script command and it works for
me but I want to have the ability to turn it on or off this way I
don't have a gigantic file to look at later.

The command I used was script -a -f mylogfile1.

Is there a better way of doing this meaning turn it on or off.
