Greetings,
I am having problems playing back CDs I have burned. XCDroast reports my CD
burner as an Artec 48x48x.
I have burned multiple copies of my "Winter" mix CD and most of them I can
play on my DVD player (no the media is NOT DVD but CD) which picks up the
dics as CD. However, my car's CD and my bathroom boom-box CD can not read
the CDs I am burning. I have burned onto Imation CD-RW 1x-4x CDs, Fujifile
48x CD-Rs, and Verbatim 2x-4x RW CDs. The Fuji CDs refused to play on my
DVD or in the car (a 2002 Chevy Impala stock stereo system).
XCDROAST burns the Imations at about 2x and the Fujis at something very fast
and the Verbatims I can not recall.
In the past I have burned CDs on Imation CDs that do play in my car, but
this was prior to a system upgrade.
I am glad I can listen to the CD but the idea is to have something for the
road!
Any ideas?
Thanks
-- E-mail decoding instructions. Your keyboard is the key. Shift the letter on the keyboard one position to the right for the plain-text. If the letter is a w,s, or x then shift one position to the left for the plain text. For example: "srg" (the first three letters of the host) is "ath" in plain text.
