So the burned CDs work well in other, probably older players?

Might be well, a complete rip-off, not uncommon that recent audio
CD player don't play any perfectly compatible (burned) CD, only
bought once.

Was amazed some time ago, while shopping for a new car audio
system, how big they announced that some device would play any
kind of CD-R/RW/etc. Seems as if it's worth to mention.
Personally had no problems so far, but heard from some poor souls
who had rather bad luck with there shinny new devices, like you?
