Well, at least now I know that you are using Samba.

There are log files nmbd.log and smbd.log in your samba log directory,
which is /var/samba/log or similar.

Look at the contents of these files, they should give you some explanation
or at least error messages why you cannot connect to the shares.

If you are at loss, post some relevane messages, maybe somebody can
explain them to you.
