Oh - about my preference for larger fonts. It's because I use a few
large CRT monitors rather than LCD displays. I'd rather run at
1600x1200 or 2048x1536 and use large fonts, than run at 1024x768
and use small fonts. I'm probably not sitting any further away from
the screen as you, but I'm working with a significantly higher pixel
density.

I also use large icons, and thick window borders, to compensate
for the high resolution.
