Suse cron vs. Slackware cron

Can anyone independently confirm that Dillon's cron is
the the usual cron in Linux distrubutions and that Suse 9
comes with something else ? My crontabs from Slack 10 don't
work under Suse 9 even though both machines have
bash, version 2.05b.0(1)
