 Composers Drew Krause + Eric Lyon
 6 New York Premieres: Tweety, Shock and Awe, Apocalypso, White House
 1980, Airline and New World Sonatina
 Thursday, February 03, 2005, 8pm at Greenwich House Music School

 Greenwich House Arts announces concert seven of the North River Music
 series featuring composers Drew Krause (http://www.wordecho.com) and
 Eric Lyon (http://arcana.dartmouth.edu/~eric/). On Thursday, February 3
 at 8pm, Krause and Lyon present a program entitled Chamber Music for
 Today and Tomorrow, which includes six New York premieres. Special guest
 artists include Margaret Lancaster, flute; Taimur Sullivan, saxophone;
 Evan Spritzer, clarinet and bass clarinet; Whitney LaGrange, violin;
 Christine Kim, cello; Eric Huebner, piano; Matt Gold, percussion; Matt
 Ward, percussion; Danny Tunick, drumset; Kent Smith, baritone; Timetable
 percussion trio and the Juilliard Percussion Ensemble.

 The program is set to include Krause's Tweety (2003) for flute and
 computer-generated sound; Riddle (1993) for percussion trio; Apocalypso
 (2000) for bass clarinet and drumset; Ding (1999) for piano and
 percussion ensemble; and Airline (1995) for alto saxophone and
 computer-generated sound. Lyon's works include Shock and Awe (1999) for
 flute, cello, piano and percussion; White House 1980 (2000) baritone and
 piano; and New World Sonatina (2003) for flute, clarinet, violin, cello,
 piano, and percussion.

 The cost of admission is $15 and $10 for students and seniors. This
 performance will be held in Greenwich House Music School's Renee Weiler
 Concert Hall, which is located at 46 Barrow Street, NYC (between Seventh
 Ave. South and Bedford St.).
