Large files problem on RedHat 8

Hi there.

there is my problem.
I can't handle file larger than 2G with all my Redhat servers (some on
i386 and others on Itanium2 64bits)

if I ls -al test (from a Redhat machine on a remote machine(NFS)) i
got
root root 2147483647 feb 16 16:04 test

from a Solaris8 machine i got
root root 3221225472 feb 16 16:04 test

if i try to copy that file from the Redhat machine to my Solaris
machine, it only copy 2G of that file, so the file is corrupted.

so whatever i do on my redhat machines, it take Max 2G of that file
and don;t care for the rest.
