Which means that it has been downloaded onto your machine. You
couldn't see it if it wasn't.
What you are having problems with is saving it to disk.

So use it. Mozilla is real quirky sometimes.

wget -O /path/name.extension URL
The -O option allows you to save the file under whatever path/
name/extension you want.
Wget is better than Mozilla or Konquerer for a lot of HTTP
operations.
