as the subject suggests i'm looking for some very general guidelines
on the consensus (if possible) about the number of spare/idle httpd
processes that a low-to-volume website should have. i've got a feeling
from what i've read today that this may not be possible but i'd like
to canvas opinions. it came up as an exam question with options of 1,
10, 50, 200. i guessed 10 but have no real experience to judge.
