Ah, your X is old. The X config file is now /etc/X11/xorg.conf ; for
the old X 4.3.0, it was /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 or /etc/X11/XF86Config.
So "grep Driver /etc/X11/XF86Config*" and see what you get. You should
also think about upgrading your X, since 4.3.0 is showing its age and
Xorg has some performance improvements and new extensions like Damage
and Composite.
