This is just a note I'm passing along of an interesting issue I found.
I noticed that Firefox would not play any sound once in a while and
the TEST button in the Soundcard Hardware in YAST would not work.
I was looking up this issue but no solution was found until I noticed
a separate post stating that a program could not access the sound card
while another was using it.
I checked the System Tray and quit both Amarok and Kaffeine and the
darned speakers started to play the TEST music that I asked for 5
minutes earlier. Then I checked a flash page with Firefox and the
sound was now working.
Just to let you know in case this happened to you.
