Hello I am also a Firefox Advocate, and Iuse Slackware 10.1, and the
files install to /usr/local/firefox here, so thta maybe where it is.
Open the Menu Editing tool and add a menu item, a main menu one, then in
it add a menu item, and the tools will take you through it, opening the
directory so, depending on how youinstalled it, it's /usr/local/firefox
or /usr/share/firefox
