Remote Printer Trouble

Hi,

I'm having trouble with a remote printer. The Epson Stylus Color 860
printer is on a Mandrake 9.0 system. I'm trying to print on that
printer from a Mandrake 10.1 system. When I do that the 10.1 system
doesn't complain, but nothing prints. The 9.0 system has this in
/var/log/syslog

    Apr 28 18:34:42 foo cups-lpd[30262]: Connection from ws11 (192.168.1.11)
    Apr 28 18:34:42 foo cups-lpd[30262]: Receive print job for lp0
    Apr 28 18:34:43 foo cups-lpd[30262]: Unable to print file -
                    client-error-document-format-not-supported
    Apr 28 18:34:44 foo cups-lpd[30262]: Closing connection

I've tried printing a text file, and I've tried using a2ps to convert
that text file to PostScript before printing. I can print that file
by either method if I print locally on the 9.0 system.

I'd really appreciate suggestions on how to debug this further, or even
better, how to fix it.
