Hi all, i have a question regarding linux backp. I have a few softwares
like mapserver, oracle, all the softwares required for mapserver...
installed in my linux machine. What i would like to do is take a backup
of the system in such a way that if the machine got corrupted, we can
restore the machine by just replacing all the files (including
bootloader iguess) with the backup in such a way that i donot have to
install all the softwares and even the updated kernels again right from
the scratch. In other words instead of reinstalling linux and other
softwares if we restore the backup it should be the same as the machine
before got corrupted.
Can i do this, i am not sure if we can do this or not.
Could you please help me out.
Thanks ......
