pppd, kernel 2.6

Hello,

I need a pppd deamon which provides the pppoatm shared object
which will run under my gentoo 2005.0 system (kernel 2.6.7.11).

I have the source of the 2.4(.2) or (.0) module, but it won't
compile with the 2.6 kernel (with 2.4 it does).

Where to get pppd for gentoo?
