Hi,

I've the problem that my soundcard (nvsound (NForce 2 sound chip)) is at
the 4. position in the alsa device list on boot.
Therefore I'm not able to play any sound atm.
I remember there was some kernel parameter like nvsound.index=0 or
something like that, to fix that problem, that my soundcard is at position
1 in the alsa device list.

My system is debian with kernel 2.6.11

Anyone knows how to handle this or knows the exact kernel parameter?

Sincerly yours, Steve
