Sylpheed Claws - Gmail pop3 acces problem

    I have a problem with pop3 access to gmail. I enabled pop3 access for my
    account, and I can get (and send) my mail.

    But some mail stays on gmail's servers marked unread, and when I click
    on "get mail" it SC does not see it. Later if new mail arrives, SC gets
    it, but old mail is still on Gmail's servers marked unread. It happenes
    with all mail from mail list I am subscribed, but also with some mail
    from my friends.

    I contacted gmail, but they responded that they are not able to test
    Gmail with every mail client existing. I than asked them if anyone else
    reported similar problem (before I contact SC authors), but received no
    answer.

    So, does anyone else have problem I described with Gmail, and does
    anyone knew the solution?
