You are booting your system up: from which device? Hard disk? Floppy?
Are you booting Linux?
What is that 'program for the Atari line of computers' that you start,
what does it do? Reboot the computer? Is the computer you have an
Atari? If not, why should the program run?
Please give more details regarding this program and the 'installation
process' it is supposed to start.

Is there maybe a website or other information that I can read to understand
your problem, so that I don't have to ask you all these silly questions?
