SuSE 9.3 won't boot. Last gasp!

I've tried the SuSE groups and boards and so far no answer so this is my
'last gasp' so to speak.

Installed 9.3 (now open and free) and it installs nicely but it won't boot.
It hangs as:

ATA2: dev 0 ATAPI, max udma/33

Here is the boot.msg file: http://pastebin.com/336827

I have 2 year-old Seagate SATA drives on an Intel 810 mobo.

Debian and Mepis run fine (in different partitions, obviously).

I've tried using the rescue cd to shroot and depmod -a. No luck.

I've tried a bunch of grub boot parms. Nothing.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks,

Al
