A plea to all regulars of c.o.l.m (and advocacy)

If any troll post appears with comp.os.linux.advocacy as a cross posted
group, *please* omit c.o.l.m from your responses. Set followups to advocacy
groups or even microsoft groups if you are so inclined but spare us all
this spam. Even a post that says no more than "plonk" is harmful to
c.o.l.m. and just does not belong here.

It does not take much. A few presses of the delete key. If you really care
for Linux, please help keep its premier newsgroups clean. At least do not
help these trolls by posting anything here, even well-reasoned refutations.

And pure comp.os.linux.advocacy fanatics, please omit c.o.l.m from your
responses as well. Amusing as some of them might be, you are wrecking
c.o.l.m. with your trigger happy responses by clogging up threads and
wasting bandwidth. If you are as fond of cross posting as your bait is,
cross post it to where those trolls come from.

Advocacy is not a proper function of c.o.l.m and please keep that in mind.
No matter how devoted you are to using Linux or winning converts, c.o.l.m
is *NOT* for that.
