I keep saying that Smart Boot Manager will work (Google wil return the
right hits if fed those three words).
It enables one to boot from CD even on a machine that has no BIOS setting
for CD boot. It can be installed on a floppy or your hard disk MBR.

Get a floppy and try it, it's a 10-second download and it's even less work
than messing with the BIOS.
