Boot with the FC4 installation media into rescue mode by typing 'linux
rescue' without the quotes. Answer a few questions then fix the typo
error. Your /etc/inittab file is located in the /mnt/sysimage directory
location. If you have any problems correcting the file have a look at
the /boot/grub/grub.conf file, the comments at the top should tell you
which partition is the root partition. With this information you can
then edit the /etc/inittab file using the knoppix disk.
