Hello,

sometimes when I watch tv I wanna record the stream.

I've set up mythtv but this is too much and not what I really want.
I don't need time-controlled recording.

After a few seconds xdtv crash if I try to record and in the recorded
files there is no audio.

Is there a way to redirect a channel from /dev/video to a file and
convert it later?
