Hi,
A high school is considering advising all students to use their notebooks in
the classrooms and for internet access in the dorms. It's about 300
students.
In the classrooms they need print and file storage services in addition to
internet connection. Cabled network. In the dorms they need internet
access only. The latter is considered solved by many small wireless
hotspots.
But for the classroom usage, does it exist linux solutions to boot the
notebooks as half-fat clients?
How do you suggest this scenario solved using linux servers and clients...?
Thanks for comments and suggestions
best regards
Geir
