Tar and zip will do fine. Read the man page. If you have any
difficulty in understanding the man pages, state where the difficulty
lies and yu will be helped (via a mild frntal lobotoby, no doubt).

How do you compress ONLY one file using tar/zip? Can you explain that
to me? Thanks.
