You need a null modem cable between the computers.
Google for 'null modem cable'. I got more than 2
million hits, with the first good and correct.

The cable does not need any modem controls, but
of course, the serial ports on both computers
have to be set up with similar speed and port
parameters. You can first test the connection
by firing up a terminal program at computer B
and attempting to log onto computer A.

If there are parallel ports (printer) a slightly
faster connection may be made with PLIP (you can
Google for it for details).
