AAA-131U2 Adaptec SCSI RAID controller...

Exactly how well supported is this controller with a 2.4.21-27.0.2.EL
kernel (WBL 3.0 / RHEL 3.0). I see that it is listed in the aic7xxx
driver source, but is it supported as a RAID controller or a plain SCSI
controller? I am looking for a 'cheap' RAID controller for the 'less
critical' parts (system disk, not data disks -- I have a Mylex
controller for that) of a server and E-Bay is 'thick' with these,
generally fairly cheap.
