67.4% non-contiguous?

Hi,

This disk was used only for data, nothing has ever been deleted, so I'm
a bit worried by the 67.4% !

Firstly, the disk is still mounted, I ran:

sudo e2fsck -nf /dev/hdc1

...thinking this is safe because of the n option, correct?

Secondly, it is actually an ext3 partition.

Thirdly, the system did suffer a power loss, after which the software
writing to that disk *did* behave strangely.

ANy help greatly appreciated,
I'm trying to do a little forensic examination as I'm rebuilding the
software in question and anything that makes it act strange is of great
concern ;o)

Alex
