Hi, Group,

I am trying to write a simple script to upload files to my free webspace
on yahoo geocities. So I can put it into a cron job.

Currently yahoo geocities only allows file upload via its own online
file manager interface, the ftp access is blocked for free users.

The nature choice would be using perl with libwww module, but this seems
too complicate to me, as the geocities file upload has several
continious pages; Searched CPAN and did not find such a module exist.

I also looked at cURL plus shell script. So far I could not get it done.

Haven't check python/ruby yet.

I would like to ask suggestions from this group: what is the
best/easiest method for this task? And how? A brief instruction would be
welcomed.

Thanks,

KB

NT stands for New Technology. Windowds NT(NT4.x)/2K(NT5.0)/XP(NT5.1)
was built on NT Technology. Anyone understands what "new" means, so
everyone knows M$ Windows NT/2K/XP/Whatever is a *real* innovation.
