FTP .message not displaying in all clients.
Maybe it's not possible.
But we're using VSFTP, and the config file has the folder message
option turned on.
I put a .message file in the FTP home dir, and in most real clients it
shows OK in the login status box/window.
In Web browsers accessing FTP, they don't display.
Unfortunately, most of our customers are not very computer savvy, and
we know most of them use IE to use FTP.
Is it possible to do something, maybe an alternative to .message, that
will display a welcome message in Web browser clients?
Thanks for any advice.
