I wanted to install FreeBSD instead of Linux earlier this year but
like Dances with Crows I found the installation process primitive. More
importantly I couldn't determine if the FreeBSD file system installation
would leave my FAT32 partitions intact. I was reluctant to wipe out my
data partitions for the FreeBSD filesystems.
