Lexmark P4300?

Hi all,
Has anyone managed to get a Lexmark 4300 series printer working with Linux?
I've tried a fair bit of Googling with little success :-(
I have managed to access the built in card reader using USB mass storage,
sadly though it is only a reader and not a writer (I had the brainwave that
I may be able to transfer data to the memory card and then use the printer's
stand alone capabilities).
I can actually use the printer in the sense that I can transfer data to a
memory card and physically take the card from my card writer and put it in
my printer - but that's rather less than elegant (incidentally does anyone
know the file formats this printer supports on a memory card - I know it
works with JPG, but it doesn't recognise PDF for example, I can't find a
list anywhere) .
An alternative strategy could be PictBridge - the P4300 along with many
other modern printers - supports PictBridge to enable a digital camera to
transfer pictures to the printer. Given that PictBridge is a standard
(albeit I think that there are likely to be USB cable issues) I was
wondering whether there was any PictBridge emulation for Linux whereby a
Linux box could be made to look like a digital camera (from the point of
view of the printer).
