Well, good for you.

If you don't mind another comment: I mean no personal criticism by
this, but a lot of us who've been on Usenet since God was a teenager or
thereabouts (not that we're wise, mind you; just _old_) have learned the
hard way that it's just a bad idea to anounce publicly that you're
putting someone in your killfile. I'm as guilty of that as anyone
(though not lately), and have many years of being cranky to atone for.

It's just that you've already done the only truly substantive thing,
when you make that entry to your killfile: You've made the annoyance
vanish. Making a public proclamation of it adds nothing, except go out
of your way to post a kind of public rebuke, on the way out.

It's emotionally satisfying for about ten seconds. But it's really not
worth it. Far better to _be_ cranky but not seem it. ;->
