From what I can tell, FC4 ships with the 2.4.2 wxWidgets library, while XCHM requires 2.6.x. Ordinarily, this would not be a problem, but XCHM 0.98 (the last one that works w/ wx 2.4) cannot operate on my machine, segfaulting somewhere down in a wx call.
So, I have to wonder: How can I either A) convert my CHM files to PDFs for more platform-independent viewing - this is the preferred choice, as I doubt I'll ever be running a Windows machine again, or B) get a working copy of xchm on my machine without radically b0rking the rpm-managed software I've already got?
I don't have any CHM files to test with, but OpenOffice might be able to do it.
