I'm using an old Kernel version 2.2 on a server and the number of
connections is increasing and increasing. Sometimes on high traffic I
can't connect anymore to this server via localhost. And this on all open
ports (SMTP/POP3/IMAP/HTTP): Connection refused. All IPs accessable from
outside are working, the problem apears only on localhost.
Is there somewhere a limit of max connections within a time?
