One will always need backup routines, and one will have problems
whenever a partition is corrupted, regardless of whether that
partition is just a bit of the system or the whole system.

A good practice, but nevertheless I stick to my claim that the home
user at some point almost always would wish that the boundaries was
set differently, and that this will cause headaches and significant
administrative overhead.
