I just installed the latest FC5 test release on my Dell Lattitude D800. It has an NVIDIA NV28 [GeForce4 Ti 4200 G0AGP 8x] video card. Up to this point, I've been using the NVIDIA video drivers, but for some reason, with the 2.6.15-1.1881_FC5 kernel, I can't seem to built the drivers any longer.
I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you, however I can at least tell you that you are not alone: http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=86868&highlight=FC5+nvidia
It seems to be a common issue with FC5 at the moment. So at least you know it will be fixed soon enough if enough people experience it.
Heh... Guess that's what I get for trying to run a "test" release. ;-)
On the good side, the "nv" drivers are functional, if not pretty.
Now I just have to see how to get the internal Broadcom wireless card working... (I see plenty of references to a FW driver that needs to be installed, but no mention of WHERE to get it from.)
I'll keep an eye on the forum you mention.
Thanks!
