As others pointed out, this is nothing if you want to run KDE.
Only distro I found being able to handle KDE 3 well on a
PII-350/196MB RAM is Debian Sarge, which works astonishing fast
on the box.

I find Debian Sarge runs KDE acceptably on 128megs
of RAM. Turning off special effects helps immensely, the
big one being turning off font anti-aliasing.

However, at 128megs or less I prefer using IceWM.
