I might point out that you're using a odd address instead of
the more netiquette-correct '.invaid' suffix.
As the OP correctly assumed, had you not have replied to him, I would
not have seen his ridiculous posturing.
As for his imbecilic attempts to chastise me for using a domain to
which I am entitled, he just proves that he is not worth reading.
Now THAT is imbecillic posturing not worth reading. Your address is a
(albeit minor) transgression of netiquette
You *still* don't get it. There is absolutely NOTHING in Netiquette
against using a valid domain.
and you should know better,
yet you have a cavalier attitude about it and refuse to reform.
I refuse to "reform" to conform to your wish that I cease to use a valid
domain.
Yes,
you are entitled to use a netiquette-incorrect domain.
For the sake of clarity - although I doubt that you will understand -
THERE IS NOTHING IN NETIQUETTE AGAINST USING A VALID DOMAIN
We are both entitled to be stupid and apparently we are exercising
that right.
Appearances can be deceiving - especially when one is trying to justify
antisocial behaviour by accusing others wrongly of breaching
Netiquette.
[snip]>
So I apologize yet again and promise not to ever do it again. Are you
willing to correct your address
My address is correct and if you had been using the 'net for as long as
you claim, you would already know that there is nothing in the domain
that I use which breaches Netiquette.
[snip]
I don't think you got plonked for transgressing, but for your
apparently cavalier attitude to being chastised for it, and
apparent refusal to reform.
My so-called 'cavalier attitude' is not a lack of sincerity,
That sounds as true as your stated reason for the ridiculous demand that
I stop using a valid domain.

If it's not there and you can't see it - it's gone!
