Note that as BRLcad is a work of the US Government it is not protected by
US copyright law. Thus if someone should get a copy from someone else who
got it from ARL and put it up on the Web for free downloading their is
nothing ARL could do to stop them.
The restrictively-licensed version of BRLcad required signing a contract agreeing not to redistribute it.
However, the ARL site is the old, preGPL version (as the URL implies). It has since be re-licensed.
