Can I export directory tree with another mounted point in it ?

Hi,
I have an nfs server and a bunch of diskless clients...
I'm sharing mounte partition on /home. Now I moved some subdirectories to
another mounted partition that is mounted on /home/data and symlinked one
directory to it : so /home/public is symlinked to /home/data/public .
Now on server I can see content of /home/public, but on diskless clients
that directory is empty....
Can I export directory tree with another mount points in it - I'd like to do
this cause of limitations of SW I'm running (would have to manually enter
changes if not done in this way) ?
Any other easy solution ?
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Rob.
