Can't find latex on my computer

Hi,

I am using a laptop with Fedora Core 4 on it, and I cannot find
'latex'. There seems to be only tex installed, but no latex.
How the hell can I install latex? I searched a long time with google
but either I could not find a hint or the procedure does not work.

So I would appreciate if someone can point me to a page where it is
described how to install latex on my system!

Thanks
Alex
