To get the best possible result from your postings, it is better to use
a
newsreader or Usenet client. Linux has many dedicated news readers, as
well as browsers with built in news readers.
If you're running SUSE Linux, look on your menu, under Internet -->
News, and you'll see which news readers you have installed. If you're
running something else, look for a good newsreader. Don't use an email
program.
I'm a mandrake user at home (and use knode as news reader), but at work
(which is the case right now), I'm working under Windows XP where only
http network traffic is allowed due to security issues and firewall
settings while the servers are under RedHat without internet connection
neither graphical interface.
Thus, I'm not able to use whatever news reader and Gougle Groups is a
usefull alternative.
Thanks anyway for the link for the quoting options in google groups.
Regards,
Sylvain
