hda: drive_cmd: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: drive_cmd: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }
Well here's a strange coincidence. After I answered you before, I went
looking through the kernel configuration for other reasons. I came upon the
option Device Drivers -> ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support -> Use multi-mode by
default. The help text for this option says:
CONFIG_IDEDISK_MULTI_MODE:
If you get this error, try to say Y here:
hda: set_multmode: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: set_multmode: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }
Look familiar?
