I've been trying to print an envelope from the envelope feeder on an
HP OfficeJet but it always gets the orientation wrong. I'm using FC4,
the latest HP drivers and the latest version of OpenOffice. I've tried
both portrait and landscape mode, it makes no difference. I have no
trouble doing it from Word on Win4Lin but I'd like to be able to do it
from a native Linux app.

I managed to get my Epson R200 to print envelopes using OO and Cups,
but I
had to create a special document (custom size) to do it. It is a PITA
but it works.

HTH, YMMV, LSMFT

How did you get it to rate the text?

Sorry Mon General! I don't understand .. "rate"?

I don't know how I managed to type that.

My question was how did you manage to rotate the text?

I just looked at th settings and I set it to do landscape. I suspect that
if mine works like it does, perhaps there is something in the Epson code
set running under cups that makes it so.

More than that, I do not know .. but Round Up The Usual Suspects!

Jawohl! Herr General Freiherr Reitmeister Grossschwantz, Alles Klar!
