achieving the first steps to usenet use. I should probably have
been more congratulatory, but you seem to be fairly sharp, so I
advanced directly to the top-posting and snipping practices.

All these practices have developed over many years, and they make
the overall system very usable for all. The ugly thing about
google is that it totally ignores training new people, and even
encourages misuse.
