It performs a full gateway functionality, providing DHCP services
for an "internal" network bridged to a single "external" network.
Your Linux box would sit in the "internal" network and use DHCP.
The "external" network of course attaches to the internet
via your dialup connection.

Aside from setting the Linux box to DHCP there's nothing special
that needs to be done on the Linux side.

For any details on the Windows side, wander by one of the various
Windows groups.
