Securing a linux box for online shopping? TIA

Greetings.

What steps do I need to take to be more secure when shopping online,
besides keeping the security updates up to date?

I know that it won't be totally secure, but more secure is better than
nothing at all.

Do I need to add anything else to my linux box software wise?

Thank you.
