xmms: autoload a music CD?

Is there a way to get xmms to autoload a music CD when xmms is booted up,
rather than going through the rather cumbersome "right click, Play
Directory, open /mnt/cdrom", newbie unfriendly method of starting off a
music CD?

If not, can anyone recommend a simple, small music CD player that is GTK
based (not Gnome, not KDE)???
